Returning letterwinners (* returning starter): DeAsia Smith (Sr., 5-4, guard), Dionna Lewis (Sr., 5-7, forward); Alissa Stahler (Jr., 5-10, guard); Kinsey Heistan (Sr., 5-10, forward); Kerri Roberson (So., 5-7, guard); Grace O’Connor (So., 5-7, Guard); Ijah Austin (Jr., 5-7, forward)

Promising newcomers: Allie Boone (So., 5-8, guard); Norah Painter (Jr., 6-0, forward); Laken George (So., 5-6, guard); Trinity Gearing (Fr., 6-0, center)

Team outlook: The Indians are limping along at the guard position along after the New Year, with sophomore guard Kerri Roberson out until January with an ACL knee injury, and Grace O’Connor out with a labrum tear in her left shoulder until February. “With current injuries, we are back to the drawing board on developing experience. Once that experience and youth kicks in, Shawnee will be a tremendous basketball team,” coach Jeff Heistan said.
