Coach: Jeremy Best

Years, career record: 18, 246-159

Division: IV

Last year: 19-6, 7-2 NWC (second)

Returning letterwinners (* returning starter): Spencer Rolsten (Sr., 5-9, guard); Braden Van Cleave (Sr., 6-4, post); Derek Stout (Jr., 6-4, post); Javin Etzler (So., 6-6, wing); Drew Kline (So., 5-8, point guard); Wade Sheets (So., 6-2, wing)

Promising newcomers: Caleb Bagley (Sr., 5-10, guard); Trevor Gibson (Jr., 6-1, guard); Grant Schlagbaum (Jr., 6-2, wing); Brett Schumm (Jr, 160, guard)

Team outlook: The Knights will get a late start after the football team’s playoff success limited the preseason. Still, the experienced lineup knows the motion offense and man-to-man defense well. “We have the capability of developing some depth and diversity,” coach Jeremy Best said. “We will be a work in progress, due to having a limited preseason, which is crucial to skill development.”
