ARLINGTON — Jeffery Knueve took medalist honors with a 5-over 77 in leading Kalida to a third-place finish Friday in the 12-team Liberty-Benton Invitational held at Sycamore Springs Golf Course.

The Wildcats finished with a team score of 342 behind team champ Van Buren (330) and runner-up Liberty Benton (338). Also contributing to the Kalida effort were Trent Siebeneck (83), Josh Klausing (88) and Collin Nartker (94).

Wapakoneta was fourth at 343 with Bath (364), Stryker (367), Lima Central Catholic (382), Kenton (394), McComb (403) and Van Wert (417) rounding out the top 10.

Logan and Jared Miller led Wapak with 81s, earning each a spot on the All-Tournament team with Knueve. Bath’s Hunter Iiames (87), LCC’s Regan Altenbach (91), Kenton’s Cole Dearing (88) and Van Wert’s Jared Hernandez (90) had the low scores for their respective teams.

Temple Christian

LIMA — Temple Christian (159) defeated Spencerville (163), Toledo Christian (205) and Perry (228) at Hidden Creek Golf Club.

Spencerville’s Gavin Harmon was medalist with a 1-under 35. Judah Whitman (37), Adrian Williams (39), Seth Holblein (40) and Ty Callahan (43) all contributed to Temple Christian’s team total. Logan Dray led Perry with a 38.

Delphos St. John’s 328,

Lincolnview 368

DELPHOS — Derek Klausing led the way for St. John’s with a 73 with Austin Lucas (80), Adam Gerker (84), Grant Csukker (91) and Robert Buescher (91) also contributing to the Blue Jays’ team total. Joshah Rager led Lincolnview with an 81.

Grove double dual

DELPHOS — Columbus Grove shot a 194 to defeat Fort Jennings (201) and Ottoville (209) in a Putnam County League double dual meet Friday at Delphos Country Club.

Grove’s Kyle Welty shot a 41 for medalist honors with Noah Oglesbee (47), Grant Schroeder (52) and Jacob Oglesbee (54) contributing to the Bulldogs’ team total. Ottoville’s Dylan Kemper (45) and Fort Jennings’ Logan Hardeman (47) had the low rounds for their respective schools.

Celina Invitational

CELINA — St. Henry (377) finished third behind Findlay (334) and Van Buren (376) and ahead of Minster (393), Versailles (399), Shawnee (402), Lima Central Catholic (419), Wayne Trace (433), Fort Loramie (381), Bishop Fenwick (392), Defiance (446), New Bremen (464), Fort Recovery (480), Parkway (498), Coldwater (502), Marion Local (551) and Celina (557).

Kaitlyn Clune led the way for St. Henry with a 90. Carina Clune (94), Jessica Clune (95) and Karlee Staugler (98) also had scores that counted toward the Redskins’ team total.

Fort Loramie’s Emily Knouff took medalist honors with a 2-over 74 at the Celina Lynx Golf Club.

Shawnee’s Megan Spainhower (89), LCC’s Meghan Mulchay (92), Minster’s Lisa Borges (96), Coldwater’s Amanda Schmitmeyer (102), Lincolnview’s Marissa Miller 103, New Bremen’s Sarah Parker (107), Fort Recovery’s Elli Keller (107), Parkway’s Haylee Stukey (115), Marion Local’s Carlee Kremer (118), Celina’s Madelynn Sudhoff (125) and Allen East’s Stephanie LaRotunda (164) had the low rounds for their respective schools.
