LIMA — Virginia Crouse, Alberta Shurelds and Martha Farmer are just a few of the women from Allen County who have made a lasting impact. In honor of Women’s History Month, several trailblazers were remembered at the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce’s Wake, Rattle and Roll on Friday morning.

Two local museums to open Sunday to share special features

LIMA — Two local museums will be open from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 24. According to a recent press release, the Auglaize County Historical Society Mooney Museum and the Wapakoneta Museum will have special features. The release also states the Wapakoneta Museum will have trophies from the St. Joseph basketball team and the Mooney Museum will have an 1860s folk painting on display.
