Letter: Facts don’t stop GOP opinions

I know this is the “silly season” and facts should never get in the way of people’s opinions. The latest so-called fact being propagated by the GOP and NRA is that H. Clinton if elected would appoint Supreme Court Justices who would be anti 2nd Amendment.

No president can appoint Supreme Court Justices. They can only nominate one and it is up to Congress to approve or disapprove. Congress is controlled by the GOP. So please be an informed voter and don’t fall for false facts or scare tactics by either party.
