CONTINENTAL — Columbus Grove (13-7) finished its Putnam County League softball scheduled at 6-0 with a 12-3 victory over Continental (6-9, 2-2 in PCL) on Friday.


Winning pitcher Hope Schroeder had two hits, including a home run. Brooke Hoffman had three hits, Katie Roose had two hits, including a triple, and Deanna Kleman had two hits also for the Bulldogs. McKenna Scott had a double and triple for Continental.

St. Marys 12, Spencerville 0


ST. MARYS — Winning pitcher Marcus Wagner allowed no runs, three hits and no walks while striking out five. Nathan Vogel had two home runs and four RBIs, Zack Wilker had two hits and three RBIs, Marcus Wagner had two hits and two RBIs and Dirk Fenwick had two hits for the Roughriders. Jacob Meyer, Jon Shimp and Mitchell Youngpeter had one hit each for the Bearcats.

LEWISTOWN — Chandler Kaeck had three hits, including a double, and five RBIs for Wapak. Adam Henderson had three hits, including a double and a triple, and three RBIs and Keaton Metz had two hits, including a double, and three RBIs also for the Redskins.


Coldwater 13, Minster 12


COLDWATER — Malave Bettinger knocked in Brody Hoying with one out in bottom of the seventh for the victory. Hoying finished with four hits and four runs. Mitch Heyne had three hits, including a home run, and six RBIs and Drew Otten Had three hits and scored three runs also for the Cavaliers. JR Nixon and Brad Walterbusch each homered for Minster. Brandon Hoying had two hits and three RBIs also for the Wildcats.


Pandora-Gilboa 11, Ada 6


PANDORA — Brian Schneck had two hits, scored two runs and had RBIs for Pandora-Gilboa.


Ottawa-Glandorf 18,


Napoleon 1


NAPOLEON — Tanner Schimmoeller homered and had three RBIs and Brad Croy and Tyler Zender had three hits and three RBIs each for Ottawa-Glandorf.


Fort Jennings 9,


Continental 7


CONTINENTAL — Connor Wallenhorst, Sam Vetter and Kyle Hellman had two hits each for Fort Jennings. Terry Dockery III and Derek Troyer each tripled for Continental.
