LIMA — Sides will split at the Platinum Ultra Lounge in downtown Lima Tuesday as comedian Brian Million brings his stand-up routine to town.
“He’s an amazing comedian,” Limaland Comedy owner Gina Chiappazzi said. “He was a finalist on the Tonight Show’s comic contest and is the host at the Cincinnati Funny Bone. He’s got credentials.”
Million has been in comedy since 1992 and is also a veteran of the Gulf War.
“It’s great to support our troops,” Chiappazzi said.
While Chiappazzi would not describe Million’s comedy as raunchy, she did note that the event is for adults only.
“I would say it’s R-rated,” she said.
Limaland Comedy, the host for the event, has been in existence since 2012 and is devoted to promoting comedy in the hometown of famous comic Phyllis Diller.
“Our focus is to bring all aspects of comedy to the Lima area, including stand-up,” Chiappazzi said. “This will be a great show.”
