LIMA — The Humane Society of Allen County will host its annual Dog-gone Easter Egg Hunt from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 12.

Anyone can bring their leashed dogs and baskets. There will lots of treat-filled eggs hidden for hunting outside the ACHS building located at 3606 Elida Road. Prizes will be awarded to each age group and for dogs that find the winning eggs. Children ages 2-10 will be able to hunt their own eggs in a separate area. All kids will get a treat.

After the hunt, there will be refreshments in the multipurpose room.

A $2 donation will be asked of all participants. All proceeds go directly to caring caring for Humane Society animals.Please be sure your pets are current on vaccines and friendly with other animals. The event will go on rain, snow or shine.
