FORT JENNINGS — Two robbery suspects were arrested Monday in Fort Jennings.

James R. Reynolds, 34, of Fort Jennings, and Trent A. Webster, 49, of Van Wert, were apprehended by law enforcement. The Putnam County Sheriff Office Detective Division assisted the Paulding and Van Wert County Sheriff Offices.

Investigators obtained information that the suspects were at 25751 state Route 224 in Fort Jennings and were able to obtain a search warrant. The suspects were located in a small confined area of the residence and were taken into custody without incident.

Officials began looking for the suspects after a 2 a.m. Sunday robbery at the Rambler's Roost on Lincoln Highway.

Investigators said they believed Webster and Reynolds were involved and issued a warrant for their arrests.

The robber entered the business and told an employee to give him money. The robber also told the employee someone else was waiting outside and there would be problems if he was not given the money. The employee complied with the robber's demand.

Reynolds was a person of interest in this robbery and is a suspect in a robbery that occurred in Paulding County on Oct. 4. The Paulding County Sheriff's Office has a warrant for Reynolds for aggravated robbery, a second degree felony.
