Before anyone arrived at the 157th Fulton County Fair, there was a lot of preparation work to be done. Some of that involved old fashioned elbow grease. Inside the Arts and Crafts Barn at the Needlework area, these women were very busy getting the major dirt cleared off before the exhibits arrived. They are, from left, Ginny Schmidlin of Wauseon, Charlene LaFountaine of Wauseon, Sandy Schaechterle of Delta, needlework chairperson Charlene Rupp of Wauseon and Janice Riegsecker of Wauseon. Rupp and her crew have a lot of fun and fellowship doing their chores. Rupp has had the needlework area since 1998. They will hang 56 quilts and over 40 Afghans this week. Not pictured was Harry Schaechterle. (Photo by Norris Ledyard)
