William and Melissa Feasel

Melissa Dawn Howe and William Harrison Feasel were united in marriage on Saturday, September 14. Sunroom @ The Brick, Frankfort, Ohio was the setting for the 4:30 p.m. outdoor ceremony officiated by Joy Stanforth, Pastor of the Waterloo Church of Christ.

Melissa is the daughter of Alfred and Julie Howe of Washington C.H.

William is the son of Debbie and Al Dible of Galion and Joe and Theresa Feasel of Tiffin.

Melissa was escorted down the aisle by her father wearing a white taffeta strapless Alfred Angelo gown. The gown featured a ruched torso with a pleated pickup on each side held in place by rhinestone clusters at the hip and chapel train. The bodice was complimented by a band of rhinestones, pearls, crystal beading and sequins. An elbow tip veil edged in rhinestones completed her look. Her bridal bouquet was composed of red and orange gerbera daisies, sunflowers, coffee berries, billy balls, purple statice and wheat. Attached to the stems wrapped in burlap ribbon was a turquoise heart necklace a gift from her maternal grandparents as a child.

Holly Feasel Fitch, sister of the groom, served as Matron of Honor. Holly’s gown was claret red with a sweetheart neckline ruched bodice and a corset back. Her bouquet was a smaller version of the bride’s.

Ted Fitch, brother in law of the groom, was the best man. He and the groom both wore charcoal gray tuxes with variegated striped apple red vests and paisley tie. Their boutonnieres were a gerbera daisy, coffee berries and wheat tied by twine.

Mothers of the couple all chose floor length ensembles in the colors of eggplant, royal blue and black respectively. Each wore a corsage of orange gerbera daisies, coffee berries, billy balls and purple statice with burlap ribbon.

Fathers of the couple dressed in the same charcoal gray tuxes as the groom and best man. Their vests were variegated striped platinum with paisley ties.

Suzanne Boedeker, cousin of the bride, was the guest book attendant. Guests were asked to sign a muslin square that will be made into a quilt for their home by the groom’s stepmother.

Appetizers and a buffet dinner immediately followed the ceremony in the Sunflower dining room. Music by DJ Larry Detty and the cutting of the 3 tiered cake completed the evening.

The couple chose to honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and the Great Smoky Mountains for a week. They are now at home to family and friends in Galloway, Ohio.

Melissa is a graduate of Miami Trace High School and earned her associate business degree at Bradford Business College. She is the service coordinator at Ohio CAT in Hilliard, Ohio.

William graduated from Galion Senior High School and the University of Toledo with an architectural technology degree. He is currently employed by Tangoe as a help desk agent.
