I was glad to read the letter in the Jan. 18 edition from April Pellegrini (“No sympathy for murderer,” Page 4A). She hit the nail on the head.
All the bleeding hearts are worrying about the suffering, if any, by Dennis McGuire. How about the suffering of his victim, who he brutally raped and stabbed to death? How much suffering did she go through, as she was stabbed?
Too many times we worry about the person who committed the crime, with all of their rights than we do of the victim.
Now I see in the paper where his family is planning on filing a lawsuit against the state of Ohio. Give me a break!
I, too, have no pity for him.
