You know its a pretty sad day when someone has to steal a flower arrangement you took to the cemetery.
My parents died within three months of each other in 2012 and this was my second Christmas without them. Their final resting place is at the Memorial Park Mausoleum. I’m still missing them deeply.
I bought an artificial arrangement this year and paid some pretty good money for it thinking that my dear momma would have loved it. I planned on taking it to the mausoleum each year because it was a little expensive.
Well wouldn’t you know that someone else thought it was beautiful too and decided to take it sometime between Dec. 23 and Jan. 2. At least you were kind enough to take the card out of it (I still get them a Christmas card) and lay it on the shelf.
So this is to whoever took the arrangement. I hope you liked it (obviously you did) and I hope, at the very least, that you took it to someone (besides yourself) who would love it too. Just so you know, next year there will be another beautiful arrangement in the same spot and I’m sure you’ll love that one too! Feel free to help yourself to it because obviously you are a person with no conscience.
