Having a president for more than two terms is a terrible idea. The Founders of this country were not in favor of career politicians. The idea was a turnover so more people could help run this country.
George Washington was offered lifetime tenure and refused, saying it was not good for the country.
Recently, Nelson Mandela turned down the same idea and served one term. President Frankline Roosevelt was a very special circumstance and even then everyone was not happy.
