It is overwhelming and encouraging to see people come together to organize an event with such wonderful talent - but then to make it a benefit for Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen, is just gravy on top of some golden and flaky biscuits.

To Doug Adams, David Harris, Mike and Kay Van Meter, Kevin Ashba, Jason Grieshop, Spaz Moorehead, and Omar Zehery, we cannot thank you enough for the afternoon of wonderful music done so wonderfully in collective unison. It was great to hear the songs of Seeger, Woodie Gutherie, Dylan, and others. What a wonderfully creative event held in the intimate and sound-worthy place of Amil Tellers/Encore Theatre. To them, we thank them and salute their generous donation of the facility to host this event.

To all those who attended, I hope and trust that you too enjoyed the event and know that you will encourage these talented artists to host potential future events as over 75 of Lima’s community gathered to appreciate the gift of music. We of Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen thank you for the gracious offering and generosity displayed in a donation that totaled $600 for us to utilize to feed those less fortunate or struggling to meet their economic needs of a meal. The amount gathered nearly covers two days of operation here, and for that we are truly grateful.

— Stephen Jenkins, Executive Director, Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen, Lima
