BATH TOWNSHIP – It was two excellent teams going at each other, both number-one seeds in the tournament and both top 10 teams in the girls state rankings.


Visiting Fort Loramie rode a strong fourth quarter as they pulled away from Bath for a 66-54 win Tuesday night.


The Redskins hit 7-of-11 from the field and 8-of-13 from the free throw line in the final period and outscored the Wildkittens 22-12 to grab the victory and improved to 20-2 on the season.


The two teams went back and forth for three periods before Fort Loramie was able to find success in getting to the basket in the last stanza.


The Redskins were led in scoring by Jessica Boerger with a game-high 24 points while Darian Rose added 19 points for Fort Loramie.


Bath (17-3), meanwhile, got 17 points from Alyssa Manley, 13 points from Danielle VanDyne and 1o points by Madison Dackin.


The Wildkittens were done in by 22 turnovers in the contest. The Redskins committed 15 and both teams totaled 24 rebounds in the contest.


Bath connected on 21 of 52 from the field for 40 percent shooting while Fort Loramie was slightly better at 25 of 58 for 43 percent.

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP - Claire Dahlke, Danyelle Hughes and Jaden Marlowe had 15 points each for the Indians.


Pandora-Gilboa 59, Ada 39


ADA - Megan Maag had 29 points and 11 rebounds, Hunter Hermiller had 15 points and nine rebounds, Olivia Maag had 10 points and Vanessa McCullough had 10 assists for the Rockets. Tori Wyss had 16 points for the Bulldogs.

ELIDA - Brooke Winner had 22 points and Allie Thobe had 10 for the Flyers. Kylie Downton and Abby Waddle had six points each for the Bulldogs.
