Elida falls to Coldwater in girls basketball

ELIDA - Coldwater outscored Elida 32-17 in the first half and went on to a 65-42 victory over the Bulldogs on Tuesday night.


Lauren Leugers led the Cavaliers with 15 points followed by Denise Schwieterman with 14 and Erica Sudhoff with 12.


Carly Stetler led Elida with 16 points and 7 rebounds. The Bulldogs’ Torie McAdams had 12 points and 7 rebounds and teammate Abby Waddle had four assists.


New Knoxville 76, Spencerville 25


NEW KNOXVILLE - The Rangers’ Haley Horstman scored her 1,000th career point, finishing with 14 points on the night. Teammate Paige Lehman had 16 points while Schylar Miller and Katie Merriman led the Bearcats with 7 points each.

COLUMBUS GROVE - Sydney McCluer scored 14 points and Sammi Stechschulte 10 for the Bulldogs.

NEW BREMEN - Rosie Westerbeck scored 21 points to lead New Bremen (4-3).

ADA - Tori Wyss had 12 points and Alexis Amburgey 9 for Ada.

PANDORA - Megan Maad had 21 points and Hunter Hermiller 19 for the Rockets. Brittany Holbrook led the Rams with 16 points and teammate Shelby Spradlin had 12.

DOLA - Holly Wilson led Hardin Northern (1-8) with 7 points.

OTTAWA - Noah Bramlage scored 26 points, Tyler Zender had 15 and Alex Schroeder 10 for the Titans (3-2).
