ADA — Among the graduates at Sunday’s Ohio Northern University College of Law commencement ceremony will be seven international students who hope to improve legal education in their home nations.

Six legal instructors from Kosovo and one from Afghanistan all studied at Ohio Northern for one year, thanks to a U.S. State Department grant. Along with their advanced law degrees, each participant will also earn certification in legal pedagogy and instruction.

Along with studying with other students, the participants also taught a course to each other while also shadowing ONU College of Law faculty members to better understand how to prepare for, instruct and evaluate their own classes.
