BLUFFTON — Food and nutrition majors at Bluffton University work every year to develop nutritious meals for the university’s Lunch and Learn healthy eating series. The series, which is open to the community, includes a 20 to 30 minute cooking demonstration, nutritional information and a full meal.
The program has also benefitted this year from a sponsorship from the Food Store, a Bluffton whole food market, as well as help from vegan chef Jonah Agner, who works at the Food Store.
Demonstrations will be held from noon to 1 p.m., Feb. 22, March 1, 15, 17, 22, 24, April 5, 12, 19 and 26 on the first floor of Berky Hall. The demonstrations are free to attend, but space is limited to 15 seats per meal. Reservations can be made by contacting Jeanna Haggard at 419-233-1334 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
