St. Rita’s looking for summer teen volunteers

LIMA — St. Rita’s Health Partners is now accepting applications for the 2017 Volunteen Program.

The program is aimed at high school students between 14 and 18 years of age. Participants volunteer a minimum of 40 hours over the summer months to help in various areas in St. Rita’s medical facilities. While also gaining volunteer experience, vounteens can also preview potential future careers in health care.

Services could include research projects, patient transport, clerical and administrative duties, stocking supplies, groundskeeping or creative projects.

Applications can be found at under the News and Events tab. Click “Events” and then “Applications.” Applications will be accepted until March 10.
