LIMA — The Salvation Army is taking school supply donations for its annual Tools 4 School drive until Saturday. Donations are low this year.

Donations can be made at Dollar General Stores on North Union Street, on Kiracofe Avenue and in Spencerville, First Lima Baptist Church, Kohls, Med Pro, Old Navy, both Wal-Mart locations and the West Central Association of Realtors.

School supplies will be distributed to children in kindergarten through fourth grade in Allen County schools from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 2:30 p.m. Aug. 15 while supplies last. To receive a donation, please bring photo identification for adults in the household, a birth certificate and the last report card for those in school. For children entering kindergarten, please bring registration papers for school.
