Police calls as of 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, from the Lima Police Department and Allen County Sheriff’s Office:


Simons Avenue at Essex Drive, Lima – An officer arrested a man Friday for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop.


500 block of Marian Avenue, Lima – Officers were called Friday to a home over a man with a gun. They arrested a teenager in connection with a burglary case.


117 E. Market St., Lima – An officer arrested a 32-year-old jail prisoner who took off running as inmates were being taken to Lima Municipal Court. An officer caught up with the inmate and took him into custody. He will face an escape charge.


600 block of North Elizabeth Street, Lima – Police were called Sunday to a home where two brothers were creating a disturbance.


772 N. West St., Lima – A man at Paddy Mac’s called police Sunday to report he was assaulted at the bar. He said two or three Hispanic males approached him and started punching him. An officer talked to a bartender who said the man was intoxicated and trying to start a fight.


1200 block of Latham Avenue, Lima – An officer stopped a car Saturday on a traffic violation and found marijuana inside.


Market and Metcalf streets, Lima – An officer came across a woman Saturday who had marijuana on her.


600 block of North Main Street, Lima – A man reported Monday he was urinating in an alley behind a business when two men approached him and robbed him.


600 block of East Fifth Street, Lima – A 67-year-old woman reported Monday someone broke into his house and stole jewelry.
