CONVOY — Florence Amanda Pisel, of Convoy, celebrated her 100th birthday Nov. 23, 2013. A luncheon, hosted by her daughter, Shirley Woodyard, was held at Van Crest, of Convoy. Pastor Bill Cronk of the Westside Methodist Church, in Lima, gave the blessing with music provided by nephews Randy Rinehart and Lt. Col. Thomas J. Cross, USAF (Ret.) Many friends and family donated in her honor to the Westside Methodist Church CLUB KID program, as Pisel has always loved being around and involved with children. Donations may still be given in her honor to that program.
