Buroker named to Citizens board
LIMA — Darrell Buroker was named to the Citizens National Bank board of directors. He replaces retiring member Steve McFadden.
Kenton native earns Trine degree
ANGOLA, Ind. — Kelsey Flowers of Kenton completed requirements for a degree from Trine University at the end of the Fall 2022 semester.
Goshen shared dean’s list
GOSHEN, Ind. — Goshen College recently recognized 163 undergraduate students for excellence in academics on the fall 2022 Dean’s List.
Blake makes dean’s list
HARROGATE, Tenn. — Lincoln Memorial University has announced that Belle Blake of Lima was placed on the Dean’s List for the fall semester of 2022. A total of 556 undergraduate students were honored for high academic achievements. To be placed on the Dean’s List, the student must be a full-time undergraduate and have a 3.5 or higher, grade-point average for the semester.
Volbert named coordinator for visiting exchange students
LIMA — Matthew Volbert has been appointed local coordinator for the International Cultural Exchange Services. This new opportunity will allow Volbert to work with international high school students and the local families that host them. He feels that having exchange students in our local schools and communities increase mutual understanding and improves relationships between countries.
Grand Health & Hospice receives award
CELINA —WellSky has presented Grand Lake Home Health & Hospice with the Home Health CAHPS Award of Distinction. This award is presented to home health organizations that have demonstrated superior performance in 2021.
Grand Lake hires Clark as nurse-midwife
ST. MARYS — Whitney Clark, a former ER nurse, is the newest nurse midwife for Grand Lake Health System.
