LIMA — “The Price is Right Live” is tonight at Veterans Memorial Civic Center.
The traveling show is based on the popular game show of the same name, and area residents can register to be invited to “come on down.”
“You do not have to have a ticket to register to be on the show, but if you want to sit in the audience, you have to have a ticket,” said Jolene Molaski, of Modo Media, advertising agency for the Civic Center.
According to the Civic Center’s website, ticket purchase will not increase your chances of being selected to play. To register for a chance to be a contestant, visit the registration area at or near the box office three hours prior to show time. For complete rules and regulations, including eligibility requirements, visit or call the box office at 419-224-1552.
This is the second time the stage show has appeared in Lima, as the first show was here last winter.
“It was huge when they did it before. It was well received in the area and people had a lot of fun. That was one of the reasons they decided to bring it back. Because so many people had so much fun and they thought it would be a great opportunity for the people that didn’t go last year because there was so many people, that maybe people who didn’t get the chance to go would go this time around,” said Molaski.
