St. Rita’s offering eVisits to patients

LIMA — All Mercy Health family medicine practices, including St. Rita’s Medical Center, are now accepting MyChart eVisits. These visits allow patients to communicate electronically with their doctors from their office, home or workplace.

EVisits give patients the opportunity to message their doctor questions or concerns regarding common ailments. These ailments include, but are not limited to, a cold, cough, diarrhea, heartburn, back pain, a sinus issue or urinary problem.

Patients will receive a response within 12 office hours, according to a press release from St. Rita’s. Based on how patients answer eVisit questions, a face-to-face visit with a healthcare provider may be required.

To sign up for MyChart eVisits, call 419-996-5000 or visit your local doctor’s office to receive an access code.
