LIMA — Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Hefner celebrated 60 years of marriage with a land cruise trip to California on Route 66.
Hefner and the former Darlene Downhower were married July 22, 1956, at Cridersville Methodist Church by the Rev. Robert Kimes.
They are the parents of three children, Michael (Cindy) Hefner, of Howell, Michigan, Mark (Beth) Hefner, of Howell, Michigan, and Gary (Linda) Hefner, of Lima. They have eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Hefner is retired from Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant. He volunteers as district coordinator for AARP Tax Aide Service. His wife is retired from owning Kreative Keyboard Studio and being a piano instructor.
