Ohio City man sentenced for possession

VAN WERT — Jeremiah Miller, 19, was sentenced Wednesday in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court for possession of LSD, a third-degree felony.

Miller was sentenced to three years community control, up to six months at the W.O.R.T.H. Center, 60 days in jail at a later date, 200 hours community service and two years intensive probation. His driver license was suspended for six months and he was ordered to pay a $5,500 fine, $280 in restitution to the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force and partial appointed counsel fees.

An 18-month prison sentence was deferred.
