As Lima mourn the murder of two (2) precious souls in one week, parents are reminded that we should do a better job of training our children. The wise man Solomon tells us in Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.” That is boys and girls alike. This is not saying he or she will never commit a wrong, but when they do they will think about the good training they were brought up with and get back on the right track!

Listen, we cannot begin train our children when their hands are folded in a early cold death. Also on the other side of the coin, those that commit these murders will eventually be caught and sent to prison and become further hardened, thus another soul is suffering.

Parents, the God of Heaven gave us our children, thus it is our responsibility to teach them by example in the right way they should go. Parents no one is perfect, but we have to do a better job in the training of our children that God have given us. in conclusion, we hear the clarion call, “Stop the violence”, this is good, but we have to also have a good understanding on how to stop it!As parents we should know what our children are doing, where they are, who they are running with, how much money they have, and how did they obtain that money because drugs usage and selling of drugs is sending our young, black people to their grave and prison.

I was born in Alabama where a lot blacks were hung unjustly, but we now have black on black killings destroying our own race. Parents if our children will not listen to us, we should have no other resource but to call in the officials. It is good to have wisdom, but we should also have a good understanding also, as Solomon say in Proverbs 4:7. You know, we are not in slavery anymore, but we, white and black alike have let drugs enslave us!!
