Me, me … me, but not you

June 11, 2014

My math training (math teacher for 30 years) tells me “logic in all things”. However, I read in the paper so many letters that defy all logic.

As I drive around Lima I see black and white signs in many yards. I do not know where they come from and I do not know what they mean.

On all of them it states: “Protect Religious Freedom”. Then I go back and read the letters in the paper, again.

I feel certain that some of the anti-Muslin letters are from people that would “call” themselves Christian. Maybe I do not know what the word Christian really means.

So much hate, so little calls for “Protect Religious Freedom”. Strange how this happens. Give ME religious freedom, but for YOU, not so much!

The Muslim religion is but one of many. The Christian religion is but one of many. Maybe - “Protect Religious Freedom” for ALL would be a good idea! Can you all live that logic?

It may be true - if you hate too much, then you will end up hating yourself.
