CRIDERSVILLE - A section of West Main Street in Cridersville was to be repaired in the next two days likely resulting in the closure of the road either beginning Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday.

Village officials posted a notice the 200 block of the street would be closed for a day while crews make repairs to a sanitary sewer line that opened a small sinkhole in the road.

Mayor Lorali Myers said traffic has been maintained on the main street through the village, but the area has been barricaded and traffic directed around the concerned area.
