Police calls as of 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 14 from the Lima Police Department and Allen County Sheriff’s Office:
700 block of Brice Avenue, Lima – A woman reported Wednesday her ex-boyfriend broke the screen door to her home.
200 block of North Jameson Avenue, Lima – Police responded to a call Wednesday of a woman not breathing. It was discovered the woman was dead. She was 65 years old and had health problems. The coroner allowed her body to be released to a funeral home.
800 block of North Elizabeth Street, Lima – A woman reported Wednesday a vehicle created ruts in her yard while the driver was trying to free the vehicle from the yard.
350 W. High St., Lima – A woman at the U.S. Post Office on Wednesday reported finding a suitcase in the lobby.
600 block of West Market Street, Lima – Officers arrested a 26-year-old man Wednesday at the Shell Food Mart after a traffic stop. An officer found marijuana inside the car.
500 block of West Elm Street, Lima – Police arrested a 21-year-old man Wednesday who had an outstanding warrant from Kansas. The officer came across the man in a traffic stop.
2400 block of Heathway Lane, Lima - A 25-year-old woman reported Wednesday she got into an argument with another person that led to a fight.
701 S. Main St., Lima – A woman at Markos bar reported Tuesday someone stole her cell phone.
High Street and Rosedale Avenue, Lima – Officers were called Tuesday to a location where two men reportedly were trying to get into vehicles. Officers came across two men who were intoxicated.
Market and Metcalf streets, Lima – Police conducted a traffic stop Wednesday and arrested a 40-year-old woman.
900 block of Rice Avenue, Lima – A 46-year-old woman reported Monday someone broke into her home and stole various items including money.
2900 block of Lakewood Avenue, Lima – A 50-year-old school bus driver reported Monday a white Jeep drove around her stopped school bus in a reckless manner.
100 block of South Clay Street, Lima – A 25-year-old woman reported Tuesday someone opened a student loan in her name.
