Lima Senior improves to 18-3 in girls basketball

FREMONT - Lima Senior improved to 18-3 overall and 10-3 in the Three Rivers Athletic Conference with a 71-54 girls basketball victory over Fremont Ross on Wednesday night.

Indiya Benjamin had 15 points, Essence Cowan and Rion Thompson had 14 each and Miea Ward had 10 for the Spartans.

LCC 97, Miller City 31

LIMA - Meredith Shepherd had 27 points, Sydney Santaguida had 14, Liz Kidd and Natalie Snider had 12 and Kayla Verhoff had 11 for Lima Central Catholic. Liz Klear had 10 points for Miller City.

Ottoville 56, Delphos Jefferson 46

OTTOVILLE - Lexie Wannemacher had 20 points and Taylor Mangas had 13 for Ottoville. Katie Georgens had 17 points, Brooke Culp had 12 and Rileigh Stockwell had 10 for Delphos Jefferson.

Hardin Northern 61, Ridgemont 44

RIDGEWAY - Kylee Hooker had 21 points and Holly Wilson had 16 for Hardin Northern.

Boys basketball

Kenton 63, Bluffton 49

KENTON - The Wildcats outscored the Pirates 22-17 in the fourth quarter to get the victory. Colyn Blackford had 13 points, Grant Sherman had 12 and Matt Bahr had 10 for Kenton. Levi Kistler had 16 points for Bluffton.
