LIMA — Gas prices dropped 11.4 cents from a week ago, according to statistics from OhioGasPrices.com.
The average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Ohio dropped from $3.221 last Monday to $3.107 today. It’s also down from the $3.185 a month ago and $3.130 a year ago.
Most prices in the Lima area are between $3.01 and $3.05 for a gallon of gas, according to OhioGasPrices.com’s 10 a.m. “heat map.” Prices were between $3.05 and $3.09 a gallon in Putnam and Auglaize counties. Prices were lowest in the Toledo and Mansfield areas.
GasBuddy.com, the parent of OhioGasPrices.com, also released its 2013 rankings for 2013 last week. Lima ranked 1,585th in the country for gas prices, with an avearge of $3.429 in 2013, compared to $3.558 in 2012. Prices were as high as $3.982 and as low as $2.957 in 2013.
