Delphos St. John’s (8-4) will take its running game against Arlington (9-3) at 7 p.m. Saturday at Lima Stadium.
The sites for the high school football playoffs were announced on Sunday. All games will be regional finals.
The Blue Jays and Arlington will meet in the Division VII regional finals.
In another Division VII regional finals, Marion Local (12-0) will play Triad (12-0) at 7 p.m. Saturday at Piqua’s Alexander Stadium.
In Division IV, Kenton (12-0) will play Bryan (12-0) at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Findlay’s Donnell Stadium.
In Division VI, Ada (9-3) will play Wayne Trace (11-1) at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Lima Stadium.
In Division V, Coldwater (10-2) will meet Huron (9-2) at 7 p.m. Saturday at Findlay’s Donnell Stadium.
St. John’s has won six in a row and is coming off a 42-10 victory over Tiffin Calvert on Saturday. Calvert went out to a 10-0 lead before the Blue Jays began pounding the ball on the ground.
Blue Jays tailback Tyler Jettinghoff ran for 199 yards on 23 carries with six TDs. One of his touchdowns came on an 84-yard kickoff return. Luke MacLennan ended up with 79 yards on 10 carries. He also had four tackles for loss from his defensive end spot.
Marion Local pulled out a 35-28 victory over Covington on Saturday. Marion Local quarterback Adam Bertke, who will play at Pittsburgh, completed 16 of 28 for 199 yards. He threw three TDs. Bertke also ran for 51 yards on 13 carries with one TD.
Covington’s A.J. Ouelette led his team with 227 yards on 26 carries with two TDs.
Coldwater posted a 49-21 victory over Doylestown Chippewa on Saturday. Coldwater quarterback Brody Hoying ran for 100 yards on 12 carries. He had TD runs of 3 and 67 yards. Hoying completed 8 of 11 passes for 143 yards.
Kenton had little trouble in its 46-6 victory over Wooster Triway on Friday. Matt Bahr played well on both sides of the ball for Kenton. He had two interceptions, two fumble recoveries and a 68-yard TD run.
In the air, Kenton’s Grant Sherman completed 21 of 33 for 419 yards and five TDs. Wide receiver Justin Sawmiller had seven catches for 142 yards and one TD. Kollin Stollar had seven catches for 147 yards and one TD.
Ada’s defense played a key role in the Bulldogs’ 35-0 victory over Crestview. Ada forced four turnovers and gave up just 151 total yards. Ada held Crestview Malcolm Oliver to only seven yards.
Ada quarterback Matt Wilcox completed 21 of 30 for 258 yards with two TDs. Blake Ansley ran for TDs of 1, 3 and 3 yards.
