Letter: Honest person turns in lost purse

Honest person turns in lost purse

About a month ago, a friend and I stopped at Biggby’s to have a coffee treat after a hard day at work.

We sat outside to enjoy the nice weather. I walked away without taking my purse. I realized it as soon as I got home, and called to check on it immediately.

Some honest person had already turned it in to the management.

I would like to thank that person, and remind everyone that despite the constant propaganda that everyone is out for themselves, there are a large number of people in Lima who are honest people who look out for their neighbors.

Again, thanks for reminding us that we do best when we help one another through life’s hard times.
