Putnam County Common Pleas Court
Wayne A. Schroeder, Columbus Grove, was granted a divorce from Denise A. Schroeder, Leipsic. They were married Oct. 21, 2000 in Kalida, and have four children.
Miguel A. Nunez, Cloverdale, was granted a divorce from Linda M. Nunez, Defiance. They were married April 20, 2007, and have two children.
Dereck A. Stewart, 24, 21450 County Road 166, Oakwood, pleaded guilty to trafficking in drugs (marijuana). He faces up to 12 months in prison, $2,500 in fines, and six-months to five-year license suspension. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 2 p.m. June 5.
Putnam County Treasurer Tracy Warnecke was granted a foreclosure judgment against Thomas W. Warnement, II, 25625 U.S. Route 224, Fort Jennings, in the amount of $4,045.40.
Philip M. Stemen, 19, 7255 Mericle Road, Fort Jennings, was sentenced to 45 days for violating the terms of supervision. The violations included attempting to cause harm to another jail inmate on March 20, 2013. He must undergo alcohol and drug treatment and pay restitution of $4,029.59 to Honda of Ottawa. He had been convicted of breaking and entering and grand theft of a motor vehicle.

Philip M. Stemen, 19, 7255 Mericle Road, Fort Jennings, pleaded no contest to assault and was found guilty. Sentence: 180 days jail, $500 fine, with 135 days jail and $400 suspended. Jail sentence to be served concurrent to other case.
Matthew S. Hutcheson, 20, 7345 N. West St., Elida, pleaded no contest to first-offense OVI and was found guilty. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, $375 fine, one-year license suspension, with 177 days jail suspended, and credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP program.
Lindsay M. Quintero, 22, 304 E. Broadway St., Leipsic, pleaded no contest to obstructing justice and was found guilty. Sentence: 90 days jail, $100 fine, with 87 days jail suspended and 40 hours community service.
Dorothy A. Sharrits, 35, 212 N. High St., Columbus Grove, pleaded no contest to first-offense OVI and was found guilty. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, $750 fine, one-year license suspension, with 177 days jail and $375 suspended, and credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP program. Charges of speeding, open container and drug paraphernalia were dismissed.
Michael H. Koenig, 56, 8883 Road 3, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, $250 fine, one-year license suspension, with 27 days jail suspended, and credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP program.

Christian L. Fischer, 18, 456 S. Pierce St., Delphos, pleaded guilty to OMUAUC. Sentence: 30 days jail, $250 fine, six-month license suspension, with 27 days jail suspended and credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP program. He was also fined $50 for left of center.
