Putnam County Common Pleas Court indictments


The following were indicted by the Putnam County Grand Jury on Feb. 14:


Timothy W. Good, 53, 5300 Road 20, Continental; rape and gross sexual imposition.


Gary L. Badertscher, 53, 328 Sugar Ridge Road, Gilboa; 21 counts of illegal use of minor in oriented material or performance.


Suzanne M. Gerding, 32, 350 Otto St., Ottoville; theft.


Matthew J. Hickle, 18, 215 Washington St., Mount Cory; aggravated burglary, theft, breaking and entering and felonious assault.


Putnam County Common Pleas Court dispositions


Feb. 18


Mark Doster, Kalida, was granted a divorce from Beth A. Doster, Leipsic. They were married April 15, 1989 in Ottawa, and have no minor children.


New Cases


Thomas J. Recker, Continental, and Christina L. Recker, Defiance; dissolution with children.


Fifth Third Mortgage Co., Cincinnati, v. Troy A. McCluer, Columbus Grove, and Bonnie L. McCluer, Columbus Grove; foreclosure.


Deutsche Bank National Trust Co., Lexington, Ky., v. Gregory Davenport, Defiance, and Connie Davenport, Defiance; foreclosure.


Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions


Feb. 10


Victor Magallanes, 24, 54 E. Liberty St., Leipsic, pleaded guilty to unauthorized use of vehicle. Sentence: 180 days jail, 174 days suspended, $100 fine.


Feb. 13


Keith Wagner, 52, 1570 N. Perry St., Lot 39, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to telephone harassment. Sentence: 180 days jail, 173 days suspended, $10 fine and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center or equivalent. A charge of probation violation and disorderly conduct were dismissed.


Feb. 18


Steven Jeffers, 31, 1740 E. Fourth St., Ottawa, charged with rape, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.


Danielle K. Steinberger, 24, 12005 Road 9K, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of no operator’s license. Sentence: $100 fine. Charges of drug possession and speeding were dismissed.


Kyle E. Vorhees, 20, 605 N. West St., Lima, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of reckless operation. Sentence: $150 fine.


William G. Decker, 38, 215 Blackburn Drive, Lima, pleaded guilty to nonsupport of dependents. Sentence: 180 days jail, 176 days suspended, $100 fine and must comply with all work requirements.


Seth W. Bowling, 28, 8666 Wright Puthoff Road, Sidney, pleaded guilty to aggravated menacing. Sentence: 180 days jail, 172 days suspended, $150 fine, $320 restitution, no contact with victim for two years, and assessment at Pathways Counseling Center or equivalent agency. A charge of domestic violence was dismissed.


Dianna L. Heath, 54, 400 West St., Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of persistent disorderly conduct. Sentence: 30 days jail, 28 days suspended, $100 fine.


Nicholas G. Lomeli, Jr., 22, 31 S. Belmore St., Leipsic, pleaded no contest to driving under FRA/non compliance and was found guilty. Sentence: $200 fine. He was also fined $50 for failure to control.

St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, default judgment v. Jena M. Rinaldi, Columbus Grove, $912.07, plus interest and costs.


St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, default judgment v. Nicholas A. Okuley, Columbus Grove, $720.66, plus interest and costs.


Institute for Orthopaedic Surgery, Lima, default judgment v. Jay Banal, Columbus Grove, $942.21, plus interest and costs.


Capital One Bank, Columbus, default judgment v. Daniel R. Martin, Cloverdale, $1,028.80, plus interest and costs.
