111 N. Elizabeth Street, Lima — Lima police were dispatched in reference to two women who were fighting in the drive-thru Kewpee lane Saturday afternoon. A 51-year-old woman reported she was waiting in the drive-thru area in her vehicle, talking with a woman on foot selling a Kewpee coupon book. A 46-year-old woman then pulled behind the vehicle and began honking her horn, yelling for her to pull up. The 51-year-old said she did not hear what she said, so she got out of her car and threatened the woman and said, “I’m going to cut you.”



1452 N. Cable Road, Lima — Early Saturday, Lima police officers were dispatched to Harry’s Hideaway in reference to a large fight involving a knife. The fight involved at least three men, age 23, 27 and 28, and a 22-year-old woman.



525 W. Market St., Lima — On Saturday night, a 20-year-old man reported to LPD that his iPhone 4 was stolen after briefly leaving it behind at McDonald’s.



10 block of Elmview Court, Lima — A 26-year-old woman reported to LPD that someone attempted to break into her home while she was watching TV on Sunday morning. She noticed someone trying to move her window air conditioner. She went outside and saw and unknown person fleeing from the scene. Nothing was damaged or stolen.



1200 block of South Reese Avenue, Lima — On Wednesday, a 62-year-old woman reported to LPD that more than $4,000 in household items stolen from her residence, including a refrigerator, a flat-screen TV, a microwave, Styrofoam materials and $125 in food.



800 block of North Metcalf Street, Lima — On Sunday morning, a 34-year-old woman reported to LPD that an unknown person stole her portable TV/DVD player and her iPod touch from her vehicle.



900 block of East Kibby Street, Lima — On Sunday, a 72-year-old man reported that four of his firearms, a rifle, two shotguns and a revolver worth about $2,500 in all, were stolen from a locked safe in his home some time over the last two weeks. He questioned his grandson about the incident and he admitted to stealing the guns. The man said his grandson has a heroin problem and has stolen from other relatives before. But when police questioned him about the theft, he denied any involvement. The firearms have not been recovered.



2200 block of North Cable Road, Lima — On Saturday, a 62-year-old man reported to the Allen County Sheriff’s Office that an unknown person opened a Verizon Wireless account in his name.
