East Chicago, Ind.Sally Mae Turner died July 12, 2011, at St. Margaret Hospital, in Dyer, Ind.Survivors include three daughers, Alberta Fluellen and Renella Johnson, both of Lima, and Betty (George) Ford, of Merrillville, Ind.; five sons, Clarence Dawson, of Henderson, Ky., Henry (Janice) Turner Jr., Hiawatha Turner and Harold (Willie Mae) Turner, all of Merrillville, Ind., and Arthur (Marchelle) Turner, of Hammond, Ind.; 20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ocie Dawson, Lucille Lyles and Leola Scott, all of Lima; a brother, Harrison Dawson, of Lima; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Turner Sr., and a daughter, Mattie M. Turner.Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Community Baptist Church, 5461 Calumet Ave. Hammond, Ind. The Rev. Patrick Gillis and Pastor Paul Buck will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Hobart, Ind.Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.Arrangements are by Hinton & Williams Funeral Home, East Chicago, Ind.
